Welcome to the Village
Tuckkwiowhum Village (pronounced tuck-we-ohm) is a First Nations heritage site located in the heart of Nlaka'pamux territory, 5 kms south of Boston Bar, BC.
Tuckkwiowhum translates to "Good Berry Picking Place" and still boasts rolling hills and lush forests of wild huckleberries, black cap raspberries, service berries (saskatoons), medicinal plants and wild edibles.
Tuckkwiowhum Village was inspired by our desire to preserve and share the traditional teachings of the Nlaka'pamux people.
We offer our guests an opportunity to experience the Nlaka'pamux village lifestyle before the introduction of European culture.
Whether you're looking for a peaceful weekend get away, a quick stop on your way through the canyon or to immerse yourself in our rich lifestyle and culture, you'll find what you're looking for at Tuckkwiowhum Village.
